Will MGT overtake TJL?

MGT volumes are increasing day by day. They had a very successful rights issue recently as well. By looking at the trading patterns we can assume that one of major party or connected parties are aggresively collecting this counter. Who knows sometimes even GUAR or CINV may be behind the scene. Coz they purchased more than 15% from the mkt in June 14 may be increasing their stake in MGT. Only time will tell us what's going to happen.If this goes on like this will be a challenge for the TJL share price as well.

Exactly Small,18.80 is the first target according to Fib retracement
Price crossed 200DMA in weekly chart after 3yrs
Traded volume for last month or so is the highest in 5yrs
May give surprises in coming days

This is unbelievable.. I also sold my new shares from the rights yesterday.

Where was this director during rights..Is there some thing that we don't know...

Any how for me it's over valued now. Better to look at CINV and GUAR as they have made about 200m capital gain from MGT now.

If MGT is going to 18/- then TJL is worth more than 30/-.

MGT is at 2X PBV with basically no earnings and no dividends.

TJL also at 2X PBV with more than Rs.1.25 dividend.

TJL going purely due to present. MGT is going coz of future and some other factors known to very few.

I don't hold MGT.

Also I could not yet do any in depth analysis to talk in greater detail.

But I saw there are some positive things happening for MGT now .

Once EAST WEST said that they will join with Marriot Hotel Chain and build a hotel in Weligama.. Share price shoot up.. I knew that plan of a hotel is sold at a higher price than an actual hotel.. but I joined the band wagon got the profit and came out...same is true with MGT.. TJL is a superb garment and MGT is just on the tracks...But PLANS can be sold at higher values than ACTUAL BUILDINGS

According to some friends in the textile industry.....

The textile industry in general is now moving away from SL to Bangaladesh , Vietnam. As the Koreans and Indonesians trained us in the eighties and nineties, Sri lankan tech teams are now doing the same in Bangla and Vietnam. TJ and MGT does specialized knitted fabric which is niche market. According to my friend irrespective of market conditions, it is who is in charge and the management/production team that determines the success of such manufacturing units. TJ and MGT both have such capable people at the helm. The MGT ceo had come from TJ along with some of the clientele.
TJ is supposed to have started doing well after Brandix was blocked from interfering with the management.

Did you all notice this? These volumes speaks out something.Is there a battle going on for this. Then who are the parties behind this? Top 20 holds 92.15% of the issued capital and the rest is among us.

What I thought was correct. As normal shareholders doesn't had any appetite for rights, they got in several funds to get in, subscribe for the rights with extras, and dispose them in the market with a huge profit. Those who didn't look at rights are buying the shares are at double the price now.

MGT is trading @ 25.5 X in forward PER basis and 2 X PBV.

Is it really worth at this price?

They are improving slowly and steadily. The advantage is less shares in the mkt.Almost 90% is with top 20 share holders.

I think both are good. I will buy 50- 50 from both depending on how election is going to proceed.
