In investment analysis, P/E ratio is not the sole parameter in valuation of a business. How do you evaluate a growth stock ?

Even if you say the P/E ratio is 20 now, assume a particular company can report a 100 % improvement if profit in one year, doubling the current EPS. So that next year if you consider the current price, P/E ratio would be 10, making the counter undervalued(depends on the sector and market ratios). These type of investment is called growth investment, and growth stocks. Some sectors and stocks can be growth sectors time to time and some are not due to many factors. Classic example is CFVF,CSEC,ESL. people have already paid a premium price expecting profit surge in coming quarters.

SHL- A right issue may be on the card, If they really want to follow the big brother JKH.

for a right issue, they need to push the price to IPO price at least, otherwise I dont see any interest in this.
But this is getting into a good buy zone ard 15-16 where as support could be provided at 15.8 or If fall @ 15.0

SHL was my debut share. I had no idea about valuation but the name "Softlogic" It was a good lesson anyway.

So at Kolpetty junction one of the most prestigious address in SL, three recently emerged business leaders have put their signatures. DJ-Liberty Plaza and Liberty arcade, Pathirage- Movenpick Hotel, KDDP- LB finance head office. Clear evidence of the impact of emerging business leaders to the SL economy.
It's noteworthy that Some old leaders like Lalith Kotalawala has perished to the rock bottom. Uncle Harry J- No significant contribution to post-war economic development development. Nawaloka- No much new development after Big boss passed away.

Good concise view of the happenings HAL..
U see... this LK fella was not perished, he was brought to that position by a man came from US. Same story applies to HJ in a different way.. All these people had wings and once those have been cut off they can only walk like the majority.
KDDP is going to be the emerging leader in business as he's making the US man happy.. But u can never anticipate the work of the authorities.. U might not even get a chance to understand wat backstabbing weasels are they..
