We need to be careful as it is also said that... "judge ye not...for in the SAME MEASURE you judge others you will also be judged" . Only person we're allowed to judge is ourselves if at all. This applies whether we call ourselves Christian , Buddhist , Atheist or any other

I logged on and saw this. Thought of making a post to dedicate it to all those who like worldly matters (already did some share discussion) and for the weekend read.
Being an Atheist :
Actually many in the world conveniently use "Religion" as vehicle for their benefit or as means to cover up their wants/bads.
Some start wars and say it is in the name of their religion ...
Some commit day light crimes, and does charity to their religion to cover it up.
Some go to Church, Temple, Mosque with prayers and offerings but really their goals is ( fill in the blanks)
a)
b)
c)
Think of a Rapists, Muderers , Extortionists, Blood suckers, or in stock market context Pump and Dump guys giving a 100 Buddhist Monk Dane and putting photos on Facebook or media. Think of people who kill innocent Kids in day light and say it is in the name of their religion.
Some do such and claim they are apparently the true Buddhists, Christians etc by conning others. But the guy who gives an Old begger his lunch parcel and goes hungry himself never gets noticed.
So when "Pope suggests it's better to be an atheist than a bad Christian" .
Yes I think there is some truth in this. If you label yourself as a Christian/Roman Catholic, A Buddhist, A Muslim( follows Islam) , Sikh or Bahaian , and then break the philosophy or concept of that faith , yet on mundane level show the world something else I think it is a bigger sin.
Better be an Atheist and follow some ethics/principles than be FAKE Buddhist Hindu/Christian/ Muslim and cause harm to the Religion / Country
On the other hand .. being an Atheist can make is so easy to break all the ethics one wants. This is no insult to Chinese in anyway. But how many Chinese are Atheists? Lots. So lets not talk about Animal Abuse ( killing animals for food and tortuingthem maybe different) in China shall we.
Judging , getting Judged and Judging others
If some one claims "No one has a right to judge others" it just hogwash in my view.
1) In Buddhism there is "Karma" which is the judge.
In Christianity there is a Judgement day concept. Also what makes you to go o
Pearly gates or Hell? Who judges?
In each religion there is some form of Judgment
2) In real life everything is judgement..
Who gets the Job at a Company out of many candidates?
Do we judge or not Chathura Senaratne by what he says and acts ?
Did we Judge Ranil Wickramasinghe by how he behaved during the Bond Fiasco?
Did we judge MR for going to Temple and making political speeches?
Did we judge Sumane brother by his Astro predictions or what he says ?
Do we judge the accuracy of a person in forums by what he/he says or does? How
about the accuracy of the predictions or manipulative attempts with evidence?
Can someone be in one Party and says nice things to face, but behind the scene have loyalty or talks with another party ? Think about people who jump parties many times. Do we judge them or not ? Many are in Politics.
Can someone kill his child intentionally and be not judged? What if he says don't judge me. It wrong ?
Look world if full of judgement and it is fact and needed.
Else every bad man will run riot.
But their is one instance with Judgement which is wrong : MISJudgement .
That we need to be careful and be decent about it.
Also some people intentionally misjudge others for their benefit/needs (without proof or examples) to say they are right.
But that another hogwash. Every Human born on this planet know what is right and wrong ( except the mentally disabled). But many twists it , abuses it , shows not the truth for their benefit. Don't tell me the guy who killed the Syrian child doesn't know what is right and wrong and he will be judged.
Summary :
1)Any body should have the freedom to follow any religion ( or no religions) they want. We should not judge all Muslims are bad because of ISIS. Like wise same concept for other religions .
2) But if a particular person does wrong that person needs to be judged ( will be judged) and made to stop the wrong for world benefit and his long term benefit.
Else world will fall apart.
A couple things that may go well with all this discussion
1) One can pretend/ lie but we cannot cheat our own conscious or facts.
2) Race , religion, age does not matter.
It is what is done , the intention, decency, and how you behave maketh the man.

Surprisingly they shared some common characteristics.
* No proper parental guidance
These three had no proper guidance received from parents which is a vital factor for socializing a person.
Either one parent dead or both missing or just having a guardian were common to them.
* At a young stage of life they disappeared from the society ...
Either as a hermit wondering in jungles, or totally missing and meeting divine forces in a jungle or unknown
* They came back to the same society after a long interval and were accepted as wise men.
The moment they came back to the society again they questioned all basics of the same society that was taken fro granted by others making them revolutionaries.
* They led nomadic life and traveled far and wide preaching for all..
even when they were offered permanent places to stay , they selected nomadic life.
* They never had a happy married life.
Yet they preached how to lead a happy married life.
* They never became successful in financial life.
Yet they preached how to become financially success.
* They all died with age and for natural causes , proving they all were human beings who could not postpone death .
After their death their fame, and number of followers dwindled until such time...
Powerful Kings needed a religious force to back and bless them.
These powerful Kings or Army Commanders converted the practices into Dynastic manner. A permanent places were built equal to King's Palaces persuading the followers to give up Nomadic Life. An hierarchical order is established over the flat organizational cutler they used to have. Shiny costumes, hats, crowns, were offered to different level of practitioners, where the level of superiority was exhibited with dress code. All such factors belonging to Kings were imposed to the established codes.
************************************
Man is a selfish animal unlike other social animals like ants, dolphins, elephants , crows , etc.
Other animals used to share, where Man used to hoard.
Upon such , the preaching of above three is useful to get rid of genetic disorder of human species.
