මොකක්ද මේකේ ඇත්ත කතාව?
මොඩයගේ පාළම.
The story goes that while the engineer was away, the workers have fixed the Arches upside down and on his return found, there was very little he could do to correct it.
Could this be right?
What about the engineering designs?

When the arc is upward like in an arch, the load would be supported by the 'compression strength'
Usually, concrete is famous for compression strength while steel is famous for tensile strength.
It does look like a foolish design from technical point of view due to compression force on vertical steel pillars.
