1. High income means what is the minimum monthly/annual salary they pointing out here.

2. How many years of remittance they consider to this concession.

3. What is the maximum concession rate or amount expats would get it.

Otherwise different people say different times and it never happens.

Always there will be around 20%-30% of regular members who will not be able to participate due to their personal matters, etc.

I think most of this is still very vague unless details are given somewhere in the official documents. Appreciate if someone can share on these. There are some other points which require more details as well.

As for vehicle taxes, <1000cc car tax has been reduced from 202% to 173% if I'm right which is 2900bps but some news sites have published that vehicled priced reduced 29% which had excited some people.

I am trying to read the available resources other than the budget. Budget was a summary only. If I find I will answer. But some of these suggestions/procedures might not have been finalized or releases as of now.

Will have to wait till they disclose to public.

Sun, moon and stars......

The budget is a desperate attempt at casting the election gimmick net as far and wide as possible promising the sun and the moon. Everyone seems to have got something; from infant milk powder price reductions to televisions for elders community centers. Unless Mahinda Rajapaksa is a magician these cant be implemented; but as we all know magicians are actually tricksters.

However, going through the budget document I feel that inside the nice big packaging are puny little gifts. The allocations, or lack thereof, to implement the promises gives the story away. More on this in Parliament today.

P.S - Just forgot to ask you! Do you have another point of view? I am keen to know!

*. එක්සත් ජාතික පක්‍ෂයේ ප්‍රතිපත්තිය කර්මාන්ත දියුණු කර, විශාල වශයෙන් විදේශ ආධාර ලබා ගෙන අවුරුදු 5 ක් තුළ රැකියා ලක්‍ෂ 10 ක් ඇති කිරීමයි.
*. කෘෂි කර්මාන්තය නවීකරණය කළ යුතුයි.
*. වෙළඳාම සහ සංචාරක ව්‍යාපාරය දියුණු කළ යුතුයි.
*. රට තුළ රුපියල් 30,000 ක 40,000 ක වැටුපක් ලබා ගත හැකි රැකියා බිහි කළ යුතුයි.
*. අලුත් වෙළෙඳපොළ සොයා ගත යුතු අතර, ඊට සමාන්තරව සම්ප්‍රදායික වෙළෙඳ පොළ ද දියුණු කළ යුතුයි.
*. විශේෂයෙන්ම වැඩි තාක්‍ෂණයක් තිබෙන එමෙන්ම වැඩි වැටුපක් ලබා ගත හැකි ආර්ථික ක්‍රමවේදයක් ඇති කර රටේ තරුණ තරුණියන්ට දායාද කිරීම එක්සත් ජාතික පක්‍ෂයේ අරමුණයි.
*. බඩු මිල අඩු කිරීම මට ප්‍රශ්නයක් නොවේ. ලෝක වෙළෙඳ පොළේ ඕනෑම මොහොතක බඩු මිල අඩු වැඩි විය හැකියි. නමුත් අපේ අරමුණ විය යුත්තේ ඕනෑම මොහොතක ආදායම් වැඩි කිරීමයි. එක්සත් ජාතික පක්‍ෂ ආණ්ඩුව යටතේ කෙටි කාලය තුළ ආර්ථිකය නඟා සිටුවා ජනතාවගේ අතට මුදල් ලැබෙන මාර්ගය ඇති කිරීමට සැලසුම් කර තිබෙනවා. .
*. පෞද්ගලික අංශයේ වැටුප් වැඩි කිරීමට පියවර ගත යුතුයි. *. මිනුම් දණ්ඩය වනුයේ රජයේ සේවකයින්ට රුපියල් 10,000 කින් පඩි වැඩි කිරීමයි.
*. එවිට මුදල් සංසරණය වැඩිවී සෑම කඩ සාප්පුවක්ම දියුණු වනවා. නිෂ්පාදන කරුවන්ට ද මෙයින් ප්‍රතිලාභ ලැබෙනවා. එවිට වැඩි වැඩියෙන් සේවකයන් බඳවා ගැනීමට ඔවුන් පියවර ගනීවි.
*. විශ්‍රාමිකයින් සඳහා මාසිකව වැඩිපුර රුපියල් 2500 ක් ලබා දෙමින්, ඔවුන්ගේ ප්‍රශ්න විසඳීමට ද පියවර ගන්නවා.
*. ඕනෑම ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ පුරවැසියෙකුගේ ස්ථීර තැන්පතු සඳහා පළමු ලක්‍ෂ 10 සඳහා 10% ක පොලියක් ලබා දෙන බව සහතික වනවා.
*. අපේ විදුලි බිල ගාස්තු 20% - 25% කින් අඩු කළ හැකියි.
*. පෙට්‍රල් ලීටරයක් රුපියල් 40 කින් නොව 50 කින් අඩු කිරීමේ හැකියාව තිබෙනවා. එමෙන්ම ඩීසල් ලීටරයක් රුපියල් 15 කින් අඩු කළ හැකියි.
*. කෘෂි භෝගවලට ලබා දෙන සහතික මිල වැඩි කළ යුතුයි.
*. නාඩු වී සඳහා කිලෝවකට රුපියල් 45 ක් සහ සම්බා වීවලට කිලෝවකට රුපියල් 50 ක් ද ලබා්‍යූ මෙම ක්‍රියාව ආරම්භ කිරීමට පුළුවන්.
*. එක් එක් කණ්ඩායම් සඳහා උපරිමයෙන් රුපියල් 200 කින් සමෘද්ධි වැඩි කිරීමට පියවර ගත යුතුයි.
*. ළඳරුවන් අතර මන්දපෝෂණය අඩු කිරීම සඳහා දරුවෙකු උපදින විට රුපියල් 20,000 ක් ලබා දීමට පියවර ගන්නවා.
*. රාජ්‍ය ආයතනවල දූෂණ, වංචා සහ අක්‍රමිකතා නතර කළොත් අපට රුපියල් බිලියන 350 ක් පහසුවෙන්ම සොයා ගත හැකියි.
