There is a trading halt of JINS and CTCE.
Is JINS going to acquire general insuarance arm of AIA Insurance (CTCE)?

ජනශක්ති ඉන්ෂුවරන්ස් සමාගම විසින් කොළඹ 02, ස්ටේපල් වීදියේ තිබූ ඉහළ වාණිජ වටිනාකමකින් යුතු දේපළක් සන්කෙන් කන්ස්ට්‍රක්ෂන් (පුද්) සමාගම වෙත අලෙවි කර තිබේ. මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් ජනශක්ති ඉන්ෂුවරන්ස් සමාගම කොළඹ කොටස් වෙළෙඳපොළ වෙත දැනුම් දීමක් කර තිබෙන අතර මෙම ගනුදෙනුවේ වටිනාකම රුපියල් බිලියන 1.93 ක් වේ.

මෙම වටිනාකමින් 50% ක් අත්තිකාරමක් ලෙසින් රුපියල් මිලියන 965.3 ක මුදලක් සන්කෙන් කන්ස්ට්‍රක්ෂන් සමාගම පසුගිය දෙසැම්බර් 23 වන දින ගෙවා තිබේ.

මෙම ගනුදෙනුව හරහා ජනශක්ති ඉන්ෂුවරන්ස් උපයා ඇති ලාභය රුපියල් මිලියන 940 කි.

අදළ භූමිභාගය තුළ මහල් නිවාස සංකීර්ණයක් ඉදිකිරීමට යෝජිත බව වාර්තා වේ.

Dividend announcement on time. Compared to last year the dividend seems small. Is that due to increased number of shares via right issue? The profit and dividend should be divided upon increased new shares 2:3 ratio.
In that sense it is like Rs. 1.125 (.75/2*3)
(I expected Rs. 1, their usual dividend)

There is much of interest for Janashakthi after its sale of JGIL for Allianz.
Company will repurchase shares of JINS giving a return of funds to share holders.

JINS has been giving a good dividend yield and now a massive capital gain.

JINS proposed deal to generate cash of 16.4Bn.
That will be cash per share of 30/-
Which means in the best case they can buy back the entire issued shares after paying 30/- per share
Or in a conservative case even if they decide to utilize half of the proceeds and buy back in the ratio of 1 for 2 still they can pay 30/-.
Likewise there are lot of possibilities.
In the meantime investors should keep an eye on CSEC as well as CSEC holds a sizable quantity of JINS and with current market price CSEC is sitting on a good capital gain.

So now JINS hit 30/- and breaking away.

In the meantime CSEC started the much awaited move after a painful consolidation till 27.50.

To be expected is CSEC reaching 30/- as well because they are sitting on good capital gain not only from JINS but the rise in share price of Orient Finance.

Thanks ET. Just see the trading pattern of JINS. If the yesterday's run is attributed to only an enthusiasm of activity then today we should see it falling down. But up to now its down by only 50 cents but still trading around 30/- Is this means JINS stabilizing around 30/-. Experts can analyze and update us.

This is highly overvalued at current prices.

Cost of 5 shares @ Mkt.Price = Rs.156.00
Buy back refund for 3 shares = Rs.110.10
Cost of remaining 2 shares = Rs. 45.90
Cost/Share = Rs. 22.95

Does remaining business worth Rs.22/95 per share?

JINS non life business was 81% of total business, which is sold.

Seems no body interested. But the stock is rising with good volumes even after a market hit with court order.
