Approx 8%-10% males are red-green color blind and more common in Caucasians (it is NOT about not being able to see red/green but certain light shades that has red/green shares mixed may not be differentiated as much as a person who doesn't have this condition). In women, it's 1 in 200 (very rare)..
No need of these expensive glasses - even Vision Care, etc in SL has similar options at very low prices. Or simply use a red color film/tape/glass, etc and these Red-Green color blind people will be able to see the numbers.
Ishihara or similar tests doesn't allow special lenses/glasses as it distorts normal vision colors though they make the numbers visible.
But there are people who knows how to pass the test by using them for certain jobs that require passing this test
