Who dare to say that there is no such thing called Insider Information in Stock Market?
I was wondering as to why LITE had a sudden interest yesterday and now the trading being held pending announcement.

In other countries I believe company directors and staff hav a blackout period for almost for a month or so where they can't trade in their relevant company share, since they know how the company has performed or abt dividend info. But here it doesn't apply I think, which I think it should be brought inn personally. Just my thought

I think here also there is provision for such but no one get penalised for breaking the law.

Every where in the world it is the same greed... Inside trading is not confined to SL.. it was a difficult task for US SEC to investigate Raj Rajarathnam and charge him for inside dealing

When the CSE got written information on dividends trade was suspended for 15 minutes but prior to that, there were ample time for the uncles & anties of directors to trade. Of course, if directors traded they are obliged to notify the CSE.

I have seen this many a times that some counters wake up from slumber suddenly and then come the good news following day.
Inclusion of " Aunt Ratio " in future reporting is not a bad suggestion either.
Join them if you can't beat them.

That's why we are concern of director buying/selling.
Take preparation of question papers for exams. Can we find people who have no connection to this word? There should be at least few people who get the upper hand.

LITE is far better than CFT.CFT ran 1.40 rupees and next day morning financials were out.
