What's new with Krrish project

What's new with this? Is there any ground work going on at the moment or its on hold for good?

The new Sign Board in the front of the site shows a diminished building design from the mega skycraper...iT just looks like the old Cargills building

‘No investment agreement with Krrish Group’

The government has signed no investment agreement with India’s Krrish Group for a construction project on a four-acre land in Colombo Fort, said investment promotion minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena.
The project in question will not be referred to parliament until the full payment for the property is made, he said.
If Krrish Group cannot start the project, it can hand it over to another investor or join together with another investor as per the country’s laws, he told the media in Colombo today.
It has paid Rs. 4,355 million for the land, and the balance payment of Rs. 639.5 is still due, with the government adding a 12 per cent interest owing to its failure to make the payment on time, he said.
The Krrish Group has said that it would construct five towers, including one with 85 floors, which will house luxury apartments, shopping complexes and a 7-star hotel on this land, given it on a 99-year lease by the UDA.
