John Keells Holdings announced to the Colombo Stock Exchange that the proposed integrated Waterfront Resort project site has been handed over to contractor.
The construction has commenced consequent to the Parliament approval of the gazette under the strategic development project.
This Integrated Resort will be a multi-faced development consisting of a luxury hotel, convention centre, entertainment facilities, international standard shopping mall, luxury condominiums, serviced apartments and office space. This also includes a 500 room hotel as well.
The total cost of the project is US$ 650 million and this is to be invested within the period of 60 months and the project implementation period will be 60 months.
This investment has now increased by another US$ 200 million which makes it an investment US $ 850 million in total venture.
The anticipated employment generation from the project would be 3,000 with a majority being skilled. The project is to be completed in five years.

You will get many opportunities to collect the share during next 60 months.
Think about your cashflow for next 60 months and allocating some part for this will be a good idea.
