Re: Hela Wedakama - (හෙළ වෙදකම)
But in Hela wedakama as I gather
1) they can still use medicine and ingredient from India etc if needed
( when some are not available in Sri Lanka)
2) Use animal based substances also ( Kasturi etc)
We should never disregard the power of herbs and the knowledge of the ancient.
There are things the western medicine/scientists have not discovered or known , which alternative medicine can cure. Issue is finding the right person in this material world who can do it.
In Lankan culinary art there is term " Ath Gunaya".
This Ath Gunaya is not something one can learn.
It like the term "Tacit knowledge" YK explained.
Same applies to the person who treats the sick. Sometimes it not the herbs itself that can cure the illness, I think there is more ( hint ... mind)

Re: Hela Wedakama - (හෙළ වෙදකම)
But there are lot of areas Western Doctors still stuck on.
1>Yaksha,Pretha,Butha Balma or Aweshaya
2>Do one test and the see the result and do another and so one,it's like never ending loop.(Hela Wedakama is not like that)
3>There are PPL in SL who can recover patient without touching or do testing(Hope u dont agree, but what i said is true)
4>Lot of doing treatment for sickness until it finished or patient die,but in Hela doing for the origin of the sickness and control the external factor to control the sickness.
5>As I know we have good enough medicines to cure the ppl.
Note:- Only we can see 20Hz-20000Hz but dont forget Below 20Hz and Above 20000Hz

Re: Hela Wedakama - (හෙළ වෙදකම)
(But the many Drs who are in the pockets of Pharmaceutical mafia talk about it disrespectfully and gullible ones are happy to swallow a useless pill such Drs prescribe and get their conditions worsen at a latter state).

But details of a "specialist" for heart would be best.

Frankly, I have an aversion towards Wedekama. (But that's my personal opinion only)
I have a dutchman friend who swears by Wedekama and he has a complex mix of ailments ranging from diabetes, cholesterol, pressure, eye cataracts etc and the gamut.
He recently was cured by a Wedemahatheya in Passyala for an incurable wound on his toe. He had gone to many western doctors and they had wanted to take drastic action by cutting open the festering wound and almost amputating it. This weda took him on and within two weeks cleaned the wound, applied a "Spray" and bravo! The wound was healed. No doubts about it. It worked for him.
By the way, the weda concerned is also qualified western medicine Doctor!
Shall get the address soon.
