a long story !
A fantastic SAGA about George Bell!
Reminds me to write my will within this month...
You can never say.
What struck me most was that the only thing George planned well for was his LAST WILL. N.R. Kleinfield the author of the article was clever in weaving in and out of the nuances of the handling of Georges Estate, finding the Legatees, auctioning the estate, funeral arrangements and meeting with all who knew him and gleaning information and individual stories for the article.
Excellent work by the author.
Fortunately for me, I have so many relatives that my final estate will not be sufficient for all of them, or will be negligible if anything remains.
If I live that long, my savings may not last that the length of my retired life and I may live a paupers life. That depends on my children or grand children if any.
That reminds me to invest in the NDB Eagle Pension Fund and ensure I "Suffer in Comfort" an expression owned and created by me.
So forum readers take note. WRITE YOUR WILL TODAY and maybe one of your former GF/BF may be the beneficiaries of part of your estate. Why waste it? Make someone happy in their old age.
