This remind me a short story collection by Oruwala Bandu...

In that there is a short story with the theme Tickal Pare Nishacharayo... Its about the veteran journalist ( some one said me its about Sunil Madawa) 's meet with a prostitute... Story is almost the same...

Whatever, no arguments that it's sad story.

However, on the other side, does any other 'normal' worker work because he likes the job?
I mean, if he had a big enough reliable other income, would he still work.

The reality is; most of us are working because we also have no other option. So, we also seem to be in the same boat. Probably, she gets more than enough, of what many others are dying for, FOC.

I also have few experiences like this in Colombo,but coundnt go out for shopping with them (they are afraid to go that way).
I have experience in interviewing 3 Ladies (25,32,39 Ages).
My intention was to share their experiences and listen to them.

Yes,If u go to Pettah or Obesekarapura Area,U wouldnt find where is ur pants tooo.

Up to 2005,There are lot of young girls were in Bambalapitiya area after 10PM.But Now it's difficult to find street girls/ladies other than Pettah and Gunasinhapura.

Lot of girls shifted to night clubs after some times.
