No compensation for Port City project delay
August 2, 2016 12:36 pm
The Chinese company which handles the Colombo Port City Project has agreed not to accrue the loss caused due to the halt of the project, Minister Gayantha Karunathilaka says.
The observation was made while speaking at a press conference held in Colombo this afternoon (02).
Earlier, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe also said Sri Lanka need not pay any compensation for the delay in the Colombo Port City Project.
The Prime Minister said the matter of compensation was not raised during his visit in China and assured that it would be solved easily.
