World renowned, award winning singer/songwriter Lionel Richie arrived Sri Lanka yesterday to perform at the 25th anniversary concert of the Access Group.
The concert is mainly for invitees, with limited amount of tickets being sold.
ලෝක ප්‍රකට ඇමෙරිකා ගායක ගීත රචක ලයනල් රිචී (62)අද සවස ඩුබායි සිට එමිරේට්ස් ගුවන් යානයකින් දිවයිනට පැමිණියේය.ඔහු ගිත රචකයෙකි සංගීතඥයයෙක් හා නළුවෙකි.
ඔහුගේ ගිත තැටි දස කෝටියකට වඩා ලොව පුරා අලෙවි වී ඇත.
ඇමෙරිකාවේ ඇලබාමා ප්‍රාන්තයේ උපත ලැබු රිචී ඕබන් සරසවියෙන් උපාධිය දිනා ගත්තේය.
ඇක්සස් සමූහ ව්‍යාපාරයේ 25 වැනි සංවත්සරයට මොහු ඇතුළු වාදක මණ්ඩලයේ 8 දෙනකු පැමිණි අතර ඔවුන් සහභාගීවන ඇක්සස් ආයතනයේ සංවත්සර ප්‍රසංගය ඔක්තෝබර් 11 වැනිදා කොළඹ ඩී ආර් විජේවර්ධන මාවත ශ්‍රී ලංකා ප්‍රදර්ශන හා සම්මේලන මධ්‍යස්ථානයේදි පැවැත්වේ.

In an online site I saw someone selling sole ticket he got - back row corner seat- @ 35,000.00

many many moons ago, at his prime i saw lionel with diana ross and his original band Commodores, someplace in Obamapura.
He in his prime in early 80's. i hear his singing recently with kenny rogers on tv. both are way past their prime.
he comming to sri-lanka to give all a hint

many many moons ago, at his prime i saw lionel with diana ross and his original band Commodores, someplace in Obamapura.

I just went through a somewhat inactive PF I maintain for one of my friends as I have no LION.
I have bought it @ 82/ for him 2-3 years ago. Sadly no big amt.
BTW, I no rich to go to Richie party. Waiting to see Do namis make me rich or poor. If rich I go Bangkok.
Just to see temples and orchids, stay country side in Kanchanaburi.
