ජනාධිපතිවරණය කැඳවීමේ විශේෂ ප්‍රකාශය

හත්වැනි විධායක ජනාධිපති තෝරා පත් කර ගැනීම සඳහා ජනාධිපති මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතා ජනාධිපතිවරණය පැවැත්වීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් හෙට (19) හෝ අනිද්දා (20) මැතිවරණ කොමසාරිස්වරයාට උපදෙස් දෙනු ඇතැයි රජයේ ආරංචි මාර්ග පවසයි.

ජනාධිපතිවරයා එම ප්‍රකාශය කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව ජනාධිපතිවරණය පැවැත්වීම සඳහා නාමයෝජනා කැඳවීමේ ගැසට් නිවේදනය මැතිවරණ කොමසාරිස්වරයා විසින් ඊට පසුදින නිකුත් කිරීමට නියමිතය.

ඒ අනුව දෙසැම්බර් 04 හෝ 05 දින දෙකෙන් එක් දිනයකදී රාජගිරිය මැතිවරණ මහලේකම් කාර්යාලයේ ප්‍රධාන ශාලාවේදී නාමයෝජනා පත්‍ර භාරගැනිමට නියමිතය. නාම යෝජනා පත්‍ර භාරගැනීමේ ගැසට් නිවේදනය නිකුත් කර දින 16 කින් පසුව එළඹෙන දිනයේදී නාමයෝජනා භාරගත යුතු වේ.

ඒ අනුව ජනාධිපතිවරණය ජනවාරි 07 හෝ 08 දින දෙකින් එකකදී පැවැත්වීමට ඉඩ තිබේ. ඉකුත් ජනාධිපතිවරණවලදී අඩුම දින ගණනක් ලබාදී ඇත්තේ 1982 හා 1994 ජනාධිපතිවරණවලදීය. ඒ දින 33 බැගින්ය. එම දින ගණන මෙම ජනාධිපතිවරණය සඳහා ලබාදුන හොත් ඉහත කී දින දෙකෙන් එකකදී ජනාධිපතිවරණය පැවැත්විය යුතුය.

මෙහිදී, රජය විසින් ජනවාරි 03 වනදා ජනාධිපතිවරණය පැවැත්වීමට වැඩි කැමැත්තක් දැක්වුවත් මැතිවරණ ලේකම් කාර්යාලය කැමැත්තක් දක්වා තිබෙන්නේ ජනවාරි 10 වනදා ජනාධිපතිවරණය පැවැත්වීමටයි.

කෙසේවෙතත්, පාප් වහන්සේගේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා සංචාරය හේතුවෙන් ජනවාරි 10 වනදා ජනාධිපතිවරණය පැවැත්වීමට ඉඩ කඩක් නොමැති බව අනාවරණය වේ.

Breaking unbreakable groups is pointless if someone else get's the benefit in the end, and you end up as the lifetime opposition leader. Being too panditha is also not good.

I don't know about Ranil , his thinking or his benefits over this.

On a general note

there might be people who sacrifise personal benefits for what they stand up for. I respect them. Everything does not have to
be done for personal benefit I think.

Is it the case for Ranil ? I don't know.

Thank you ! Now I know there is at least one person living in this country  who can remember chandri kas 100 day promises .
My three was an obedient servant of that woman, always.  

BTW, she has already started the damaging by opening her mouth : "only SLFP can put this  kind of greate person for the contest" while asking chande from UNPers

It's sad to see some people protecting CTC Ill behavior in Sri Lanka. These British- American tobacco company fellows agreed on 80 % pictorial warning and followed that rule obediently in some powerful countries and developed countries. These brats raise objections only in Sri lanka, thinking like Sri Lankan citizens are lesser people or may be animals. I think every Sri Lankan should stand against this discrimination and ill behavior of CTC with regard to Sri Lanka. If people are smoking even after seing those warnings that's up to them. Before considering CTC an important stock in the CTC, We should be aware that smoking is a killer.
By the way, I think in CBK era, CTC had a very good relationships with that government and once the PA was labelled as CTC government if you all can remember the things well.

This is my personal view on the current developments

Some Major troubles if MS wins are as follows,

What if Mahinda holds on to power for the next two years??, then the Arab spring will be on streets and will kill the market momentum.

There is a possibility that the UNP will be ending up in the loosing position even MS wins. Who wants to sacrifice his political career for a 100 day Presidency. Even MS wins he will gain the majority of SLFP with the support of Chandrika and form a SLFP goverment. MS will say tata to the rest of the common alliance and be the president like every one else who sat on that chair. Remember politicians are dirty animals that with a 360 degree rotatable tongues Very Happy . If thats the  case all co alliance parties will be after MS Putting the country to a political mess.

What CBKs return on this venture? Is it only revenge?? She says she has started politics again, so what role a former president would be offered in the new government? God Bless that government with CBK and Mangala on the front seats.

As clearly indicated by MS, Ranil will come to power in 100 days. So what are their policies? Will JVP and JHU agree on those in the long term??

If MR Wins?

We can say " අය්‍ යෝ සිරිසේන​"   lol!  lol!  lol!  lol! . MR will be 10 times powerful than now becaz all the pressure groups like JHU, JVP, and UNP have been defeated.

Casino bill will be passed like penuts Laughing Laughing  ( This is high time we look in to JKH warrants). All crossover members will have natural political death like SF


Summary

MR is a proven character and emerged victorious facing hardest challenges. Pros I see in him is never been afraid to face challenges, selecting words very carefully when he speaks ( aspect almost all the modern politicians have failed, to control their tongue eg: Ranil Chuin Gum Bracelet story and many others, JR - Made Indira Ghandi furious becaz his crazy speech,  Chandrika -  පටි තද කරගන්න කතා ) and very good PR are some very good leadership qualities in MR.

The negative is the family power all over the government, which gave him this challenging election.

On the other hand MS has a lot to prove in a very short period of time. Any wrong word by him or his buddies (There are many who can spoil the party like CBK, Mervin, Ranil in his team) will ruin his image.

He has already made a big blunder by saying he will appoint Ranil as executive president in 100 days. So he is an intermediary, will the general public place their trust on such a puppet?

I also believe the crazy things done by this government should come to an end, but not like this way. It would have been very good if MS said he will form a government like a real leader.

People gave votes to purely MR not to crazy ministers who crossed or to those not crossed. MRs strength is in Rural votes. Issues like "Executive Presidency" are not appealing to those people. Bribery and corruption is one thing and loosing our mother land is something else (I do not accept the corruption by this government, but are there any government in the world with out any corruption???).

Anyway we are still in the first few overs of the match, long way to go............till Jan 08. Exciting times ahead for the country and for CSE
