සති අන්තයේ සියලුම ජාතීන්ට අයත් දහස් ගණනක් දරු පවුල් මෙහි විත් සොඳුරු සුවය විඳිති. එන අය පිනවීම සඳහා සෙනසුරාදා හා ඉරිදා සජීවී සංගීත වාදන  හා ගායනද ඉදිරිපත් කෙරේ.

වාහන සිය ගණනක් නැවතිය හැකි වාහන නැවතුම් පලක් ද නිමවිණි. මල් ප්‍රදර්ශන කුටි වලින්  හා ආහාර කුටි වලින් රජයට එන මාසික ​ආදා යම මිලියන ගණනක් විය​.

මෙතෙක් මෙසේ ඉතා උසස් තත්ත්වයෙන් කාගේත් ප්‍රශංසාව මැද දිනෙන් දින දියුණු වෙමින්  පවත්වාගෙන ආ මෙම ස්ථානයට හදිසියේ ගිය සතියේ සිට කලු පැල්ලමක් එකතු විය​.

නව පාලනය යටතේ එහි පාලන කටයුතු වල කිසිදු වර්ධනයක් නොමැති නමුදු එහි එන සියලු වාහන නවත්වා ටිකට් කඩන්නට නම් පටන් ගෙන ඇත​. මල් පැල හා පොහොර පටවා ගැනීම සඳහා පමණක් ඇතුලට එන කාර් වලින් පවා මුදල් අයකිරීමට කල්ලියක් පත්කර ඇත​.

මෙය ඉතා නිර්ලජ්ජී ක්‍රියාවක් වී ඇති බව එතන එන යන හා ව්‍යාපාර කරන අයගේ කතා වලින් හෙලිවේ :

"අර මිනිස්සු ලස්සනට හදල ගියා. මුන් ඇවිල්ලා ලැජ්ජ නැතුව ටිකට් කඩනවා "  

මේ ටිකට් මිල හා වාහන සං ඛ්‍යාව ගැන ගනන් හදා බැලුව හොත් තව කරුණක් හෙලිවේ. ටිකට් කඩන්න අරන් ඉන්න සේවකයන් ප්‍රමාණය බැලූවිට  පඩි ගෙවන්න ආදායම ඇත් ද යන්නය​.

Even during Roman empire it was the military that did construction, development related work as well as war activities... Only problem I see is with our attitude... If some one is into cleaning , gardening, construction thats bad? is it what we try to say...

Ok ... even now Victoria Park is clean thanx to the military people who are looking after it.. Handover the job to CMC people and see the difference..

We the fuedalists still believe soldier is RAJA PURUSHAYA and the cleaner is a SADOL.

This mentality should be changed... Being the General Julius Ceasar used to dig canals with a shovel with fellow soldiers...

This is what Gota should have done... If we just joined the cleaning soldiers one day he would have set the attitude different... This is what Modi in India did to change attitude... This is what YAHAPALANA guys should do... Join the soldiers in cleaning and say I too clean so Whats wrong with that?????

එකල මහා දෙශප්‍රෙමීන් විසින් හමුදා විරුවන් වහල් සේවයේ යොදවා ගනිමින් මෙවෑනි තෑන් නඩත්තු කෙරුනි. නව යහපාලනය යටතේ හමුදා සෙබලුන් එම වහල් බෑම්මෙන් මුදවා ගෙන ඈත.
