Madam MERKEL of Germany is searching for a new JOB!

The Germans were the bad guys since WW II (1944).
Especially the US and GB went against them in war.

Hitler really made a bad name for the country with all the persecutions, in assertions and torture. Until the last few years those memories were not erased until almost everyone of that generation passed away in death.

We don't remember WW II that much except through a film like TORA! TORA! TORA!.

But this episode of international cheating will remain longer in our minds as they (Germany) tried to be holier than the POPE with the rest of the world. They even got the good name of inviting the REFUGEES from Syria and other nations and the rest of the EU and the US and Japan were made to be viewed as stingy and cruel.

Now we know what the real reason for the German generosity was all about. They knew what was coming soon with the negative publicity and penalties. They were forced to provide refuge to those thousands of refugees at a cost.

So the next time Merkel opens her mouth she will be bombarded with criticism and negative comments about their philanthropy and saintliness.

Answers:

1) The WWII was a common impact and nothing personal though devastating. There was no media in 1945 except newspapers. Deception is something that's affects deep within and tampering with standards gives a very bad feeling. Loss of confidence and trust in humans and their standards will take a long time to heal. We have forgotten the 30 years of suffering in SL so soon accept a fraction of the populace. But, not like what VW did to the world consumers. Blatant, diabolical, glib, notorious, inherent, pathological LIARS are what they have become.

2) philanthropy by most individuals, companies and states are based on coercion, duty, law, enforcement or economic benefits that includes saving on taxes etc.
In this case with Germany, they knew in advance the stakes on the negative impact of this international fraud and the government has taken mitigating steps to limit the impact and improve the relations and goodwill.

Why in the world would any country take in 800,000 refugees if not for ulterior motives? They also have aging population and want the dirty work done by them migrants in later years. The work force in Germany is dwindling fast and they need more workers for the menial work to be done.

Don't forget that the Germans took most of the Jews money and invested them in other countries during the war. They are rich. Switzerland has quite a bit of wealth by dead JEWS killed by Hitler!

So CSR activities done by Germany is good and they have included them in their Annual Reports. People should know what the CSR means!

I have quite a bit on this subject and the opposition party in German Parliment is attackng Merkel on this issue.

Moreover, pockets of radical thinking Germans in some parts are not in favour of the quantum of refugees taking their jobs, land, ncreasing govt. expenditure and HIGH RISK of ISIS infiltrators coming into Germany along with the refugees.

Just imagine if we had Indians or Pakistanis coming in the thousands to SRi Lanka!

Even if we were a rich nation I think the general tilt would be in following the pragmatic approach to the problem.


MErkel is a tough lady and pragmatic. Suddenly she has changed her stance which will bring the nation a lot of problems and violence. Take Switzerland, Sweden and Norway as examples.

I think the inevitable will happen soon for Merkel.
She has a large heart and good brain.

The VW scandal and Refugee crisises are not what she bargained for. Politics and philanthropy do not mix well.

We can have a Mother Merkel after Tereesa.

As The Washington Post's Anthony Faiola reports from Berlin this week, Angela Merkel is in trouble.

The German chancellor, once one of the most popular politicians in Europe if not the world, is finding herself increasingly isolated from both other world leaders and her own electorate. The root cause of her situation seems to be quite simple: Merkel's embrace of refugees and migrants has backfired among her peers, her supporters and her opponents.

The chart above shows approval ratings information from a poll commissioned by the public broadcaster ARD and carried out by polling firm Infratest Dimap. As you can see, it shows that over the last year, as the refugee crisis grew larger, Merkel has seen a dramatic drop in approval ratings.  While she was once at near-Putinesque highs, she is currently standing at 46 percent — her lowest since August 2011.

Another poll conducted by rival polling firm Forschungsgruppe Wahlen paints a similar picture.

There are plenty of other tidbits in these and other polls that suggest problems for Merkel. The ARD poll shows that 81 percent of Germans don't feel as if Merkel has the "refugee situation" under control, for example. Another poll conducted by Insa for Focus Magazine found that 40 percent of Germans felt Merkel should resign for her refugee policy, while 45.2 percent said she should not.

Of course, all over the world polls can be wrong or misleading and Germany is no different in that regard. And Merkel has weathered an even greater slump before, back in the eurozone crisis of 2011 when her approval sank to 41 percent at one point, per ARD's data.

Still, in the past Merkel has shown that she follows these approval polls closely, sometimes changing her positions to court public favor. And with three state votes this year and a general election next year, it's not surprising that some in her party are wondering who could follow her.
